I have been working with individuals, organizations, and businesses in the Portland metro area since 2000. In 2003, I started using the Content Management System Drupal to run the sites I develop and maintain. A few years later I began using the Customer Relationship Management database CiviCRM for handling volunteer, donor, and customer information. Since then, CiviCRM has added features for donations, membership, bulk email, advocacy, and voter contact.

I specialize in working with individuals, non-profit and community organizations, and small businesses. I mostly work with those in the Portland metro area in Oregon; however, I can work with those in other areas of the country via Skype, phone, e-mail, and instant messenger. Arrangements can also be made for me to travel to your location.

Candidates: It's not too early to go online with your site for the 2012 and 2013 election cycles. It is important that you get your web site up and running as soon as possible. This allows you to take donations, create an online buzz, distribute materials among supporters, let people know about events, and more.

Web site design and maintenance

Much of my work has been in the political arena. I have served as webmaster for several organizations, including the Multnomah County Democratic Party, Democracy for Oregon, and Oregon Bus Project.

I can help your organization build or redesign a website. I have been using Drupal since 2003 and can assist you in creating a new site or moving your current static html site over to a dynamic format. I can also help you get your donations, membership sales, ticket sales, and merchandise sales online with Paypal, Google Checkout, or a merchant account like Authorize.net.

I can build a custom package for you of tools that works within your budget constraints. I can even start with a simpler site now and expand it as your budget allows. For a quick site, I have packages already built that include the most common add-ons already customized and ready to go, allowing for a 24-hour turnaround on many sites.

Drupal is a Content Management System (CMS) which allows people who are not familiar with html or web design to be able to easily update and add to their own web sites. It also allows for multiple users, which can be grouped into "roles" that have different permissions and responsibilities.

CiviCRM is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database used to collect information about your volunteers, donors, or customers. It can also be used to handle memberships, event registration and ticket sales, donations, and advocacy like phone banking, canvassing, and petitions.
